How to Create a cPanel Email Account

Creating a professional email address that uses your own domain name (e.g. [email protected]) is one of the first things you should do after setting up hosting. It builds trust with customers, ensures your emails land in inboxes rather than spam, and keeps all your business communication in one place. Here is how to do it in under 3 minutes on your Hostinap Shared or Business Hosting account.

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

Open your browser and navigate to https://yourdomain.com/cpanel. Alternatively, log in to your Hostinap Client Area and click the cPanel Login button next to your hosting service.

Step 2: Open the Email Accounts Tool

On the cPanel home screen, scroll down to the Email section. Click on Email Accounts. This lists all existing email addresses on your account.

Step 3: Click Create

Click the blue Create button in the top-right corner to open the new email account form.

Step 4: Fill in Your Email Details

Step 5: Click Create

Scroll to the bottom of the form and click the Create button. Your email account is now active immediately โ€” no waiting required.

How to Access Your Email (Webmail)

You can start reading and sending emails instantly through your browser using Webmail. Navigate to https://yourdomain.com/webmail. Log in with your full email address (e.g. [email protected]) and the password you just set. We recommend Roundcube as the webmail client โ€” it is clean, fast, and works well on mobile.

How to Connect Your Email to a Phone or Computer

To access your email in Outlook, Apple Mail, Gmail (as a linked account), or your iPhone's Mail app, you will need your IMAP and SMTP settings. In cPanel > Email Accounts, click Connect Devices next to your new email address. cPanel will show you the exact server settings to use.

The standard settings are:

Managing Your Mailbox

To change the password, increase storage, or delete an email account later, return to cPanel > Email Accounts and click Manage next to the relevant account.

Need More Email Storage or Deliverability?

Hostinap Business Hosting includes a dedicated IP address, which significantly improves your outgoing email reputation and helps ensure your emails land in the inbox, not the spam folder.
